SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.

SASSA will be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it really is alarmed with regards to the superior range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The company position designed for intervention activities a large inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to help the servicing of all shoppers SRD and boost access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
